Plain answers about how this site makes money and what that means for what you read.

How we earn money

Hair Story may receive compensation when you click an affiliate link and then take a qualifying action at an operator, such as registering or depositing. This is how many comparison sites fund their work, and it is how we fund ours.

Which links are commercial

The offer buttons and operator links in the ranked list, the comparison table, and the editor's choice box are the commercial links. They point to operator destinations. When real destinations are in place, these links open in a new tab and carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" so their commercial nature is clear to browsers and search engines. On the current build these point to placeholder tokens, so no live tracking runs yet.

Can money affect what we show

We will be honest rather than make a claim we cannot prove. A commercial relationship can affect whether an operator is included and where it appears, as it can on any affiliate site. What compensation does not do is override the criteria on our How We Rank page. We will not describe an operator as licensed, tested, or safe because of a commercial deal. If a paid placement ever influences an entry, our aim is that the editorial notes still reflect the real terms.

How commercial and editorial interact

The writing, the criteria, and the explanations are produced by the editorial desk. The commercial team arranges links and placements. We keep the reasoning on the page consistent with the operator's actual terms, so a reader is never asked to trust a claim we have not supported. Read the detail on our Editorial Policy page.

Offers change. Bonuses, limits, and terms move often. The figures you see on an operator site are the ones that count. Always confirm current terms on the operator's own website before you act.
